This is the short version, for readers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, where the General Data Protection Regulation and its UK equivalent apply. The full detail, including what we collect and which cookies we set, is in our Privacy Policy. Where the two ever differ, the Privacy Policy governs.
Who is responsible
RushEssay.net is operated by PVexperts, the controller of the personal data collected through the site. Write to support@rushessay.com about anything on this page.
The legal bases we rely on
- Contract, to run your account and your orders and to send service emails about them.
- Legitimate interests, for fraud prevention, security, support, measuring how the site is used, and promotional emails where consent is not required. We weigh these interests against your rights, and you can object.
- Legal obligation, for payment and accounting records and for lawful requests from authorities.
- Consent, where the law requires it for promotional emails. You can withdraw it at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. You can object to how we use it, refuse direct marketing at any time, and withdraw any consent you gave.
How to use them
Write to support@rushessay.com from the email address on your account and say what you want. We may ask you to confirm your identity. You get an answer within one month. A verified deletion request is completed within 14 days, except for records the law requires us to keep.
How to complain
You can complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live or work, or where you think the problem happened. Telling us first is often the quickest fix, but you do not have to.
How long we keep data
Account and order records stay while your account is in use, then only as long as disputes, accounting and the law require, and never more than 10 years after your last use. An email address typed into the order form without an order is kept for up to 45 days, and our own records of visits and order form use for 13 months.
Data outside the EEA
Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area. They do so under safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
